- ADELANTE!: U.S. Education Leadership Fund.
- AICPA: Visit the AICPA to find out about scholarships available to accounting, finance and information systems majors (undergraduate and graduate).
- Brentwood Community Foundation Scholarship: The Brentwood Community Foundation scholarship and grant application package is now available. Eligible applicants include high school graduates, undergraduate students, and graduate students who live in the greater Houston area. The application package is available at the Brentwood Community Foundation office, on the Brentwood Community Foundation website, and at the office of Brentwood Baptist Church. Students may apply for only one scholarship or grant. Submitting more than one application may lead to disqualification. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Commercial Real Estate Women: Junior/Senior or graduate, Full tme. Deadline: Friday, April 27 2012.
- Delphian Scholarship: The Delphian Foundation offers two scholarships - 1) The UH Foundation scholarship which is applicable for women only and U.S. citizens. 2) The Delphian Endowment Scholarship is applicable for women and men and U.S. Citizen/Legal Resident.
- Gates Millenium Scholarship: The Gates Millenium Scholarship is funded by a grant from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It was established as an opportunity for students to complete their undergraduate education.
- Geico Scholarship: Geico is offering $1,000 Achievement Awards to exceptional college students. Applicants must be a college sophomore or junior, have at least a 3.0 GPA, be majoring in business, IT, math or a related field and be a leader on campus and in the community.
- Houston National Association of Insurance Women Scholarship: Offering a $2,000 a year ($1,000 for fall term and $1,000 for winter or spring term) scholarship to a qualified applicant. The applicant must be in good standing and maintaining a “B” average. Deadline: June 30, 2011.
- Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Fellowships: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, independent foundation established by Jack Kent Cooke to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education.
- MassMutual Scholars Program: Opens to students of African American/Black, Asian/Pacific Islander or Hispanic descent. U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency. Have at least a 3.0 GPA. Full-time for 2011-12 academic year. Must be a college sophomore, junior or senior. Students of all majors will be considered.
- National Energy Services Association (NESA) Scholarship: NESA will award up to SIX separate $5,000 Scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students for the Fall 2011 / Spring 2012 Semesters with checks to be made payable jointly to the recipient and his/her college and paid out over two semesters. Applicants must be in good standing entering their Junior or Senior year (60 hour minimum) with at least two more semesters of education remaining at the time of application, or be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program.
Student must currently be pursuing studies related to energy management, trading or any other commercial energy activity (to be determined at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee). Student must also be able to demonstrate through transcripts the completion of classes related to the energy commodity business or have relevant energy industry work experience, including internships. - Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Diversity Scholarship: U.S. Citizens, Members of one of the following ethnic minorities: Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Full time sophomore or junior, Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® Scholarship Fund: United States citizens, graduate students majoring in real estate appraisal, land economics, real estate or allied fields. The scholarships are primarily awarded on the basis of academic excellence and are intended to help finance the education endeavors of individuals concentrating their studies in the aforementioned areas. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students for the academic year beginning August 2010 through June 2011.
- Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation Scholarship: Exhibits leadership traits in academic and campus activities, Demonstrates a propensity for entrepreneurial achievement, Has good academic credentials (3.5 or above on a scale of 4.0), Has outstanding moral character, Is a U.S. Citizen, Willing to personally complete the forms as requested, Willing to attend the Annual Induction Dinner in Houston on October 30, 2012, and Willing to be available for interviews as needed. - The Commodity Floor Brokers and Traders Association (CFBTA) Scholarship Program: Two $5,000 scholarship grants for students interested in a career in the financial services industry. Scholarship applications must be submitted by July 29, 2011. Selections will be made by August 26, 2011.
- The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship: The purpose of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for new Americans is to provide opportunities for continuing education of able and accomplished students to reach their goals in their education.
- Undergraduate Research Scholarships: The scholarships provide talented UH students with the opportunity to participate in a research project under the direction of a UH faculty mentor.
- WOMAN’S BUSINESS SUPPORT NETWORK: WBSN Foundation Scholarships. Need based scholarships are available - $500, $1000, $2000. Must be a female in financial need with at least 5 years work experience to be eligible for the scholarship.
